Well who knows where it all begins
One small slip and the walls close in
I gave in to the worry and doubt
Started thinking her was no way out
Happened so slow I couldn't see
Locked the door and I tossed the key
Broken soul and my body aches
Trying to make it to a state of grace
When you live in a prison you've made
It's just seems harder man to get a break
But there's a light in the tunnel I see
I'll just be what I'm gonna be
Kick the dust off my boots with my heel
One more thought and
I'm out of here
Not sure how I got caught in my mind
All I hear is the ticking of time
Never thought words could hurt you
Beat me up for another rhyme
